A captain has to imbibe many qualities to become a great leader. He has to have the nerve of a gambler, the patience of a saint and the mind of a psychiatrist. Virat Kohli lacked the basic character to lead a team and he is just a beginner. Instead of going hand in hand with the coach, the captain himself is agitated all the time and set a bad precedence to the team members. Despite having the much needed and experienced coach like Kumble, the team is left for West Indies tour sans coach. Touring teams need to have a regular coach and we should maintain the decorum as a sports loving country on away tours. The skipper jump at every opportune moment and that looks rather childish. After winning six series in succession, the captain may egomaniac but that should not be displayed in a field of play. The game of cricket is more important than individuals and that was clearly indicated with the exit of the coach. Winning and losing is different but the captain should act in such away that will not harm the spirit of the game.
