Clean-India movement requires urgent-most fixing norms for pets

Ordinary people follow their favourite celebrities and politicians in practices adopted by them. Many of our leading politicians and celebrities are seen pouring love and affection for pet dogs, a trend, unfortunately rising amongst commoners but without following norms to keep streets clean and health-safety of common people. Central government should legislate some norms whereby those having pet dogs may be required to get their dogs registered with civic bodies with registration-details hanged compulsorily in their necks. Moreover, it should also be compulsory to tie shit bags to ensure that dog-shit may not be spread on streets in the interest of health-safety of people.

There should be a massive drive to clear roads and streets from stray dogs which have become a big nuisance in spreading shit all along streets and roads causing big danger to public-health. A recent incident of killing of children due to dog-bites in Sitapur (UP) has further become a cause of worry for the safety of people. It is ironic that affording people having adequate space for having cows and buffaloes prefer having dogs rather than having cows. Love and affection towards pet dogs at times is of greater significance rather than family-elders for dog-lovers of elite society. Having norms for pet dogs will be a great step towards ambitious Clean-India movement of Prime Minister.
