The much publicized rift between captain Virat Kohli and team India coach Anil Kumble is good for the Indian cricket. Kumble is a tough task master and row between coach and captain can actually boost the morale of the side when the captain decides to silence his coach by letting his bat do the talking. Many a times the coach actually instigates his players with rough talk as that hurts players who then wants to prove their coach wrong.
Debates where player and coach has difference of opinion is at times healthy. Virat Kohli is one of the best players in the country at the moment while Kumble we all know is a brilliant coach who brings the best out of his team. The media should not blow the reported rift between cricketing icons and let the two men in question settle their differences amicably.
Both are matured enough to understand country’s interest which is paramount and let us all hope team India performs well under their partnerships. A coach is a teacher and I am sure Kohli would respect his ‘guru’s’ decision in the interest of Indian cricket!
