Mumbai has an excellent coastline and it is great to learn that BMC’s ambitions coastal road project would soon become a reality after clearance received from the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change. Coastal road project would ease road and train traffic congestion and would truly put Mumbai city on world map of one of the most developed city in the world.
Mumbai is surrounded by water from all sides and we must explore life on waters since land area has been fully occupied. Townships, bridges, tunnels etc in the sea would soon be the order of the city as is happening in global cities and Mumbai truly should become the most advanced city in the coming decades.
The administration should work in honest earnest and infrastructure projects would also create employment opportunities which would solve not just employment issues but boost other infra related industries as demand for construction materials rise in the coming years!
