The outrageous and blatant behaviour by an MP Ravindra Gaikwad who is supposed to be a model to others should not be tolerated. An attack on any one of the employees is an assault on ordinary, law-abiding citizens of our country who work hard to earn a living. The incident by Gaikwad has not only stooped to low level but has also defamed the legacy of Bal Thackeray as he mentioned the name of the legendry leader as his inspirer to beat anyone who questions him. Such disruptive and abusive behaviour by a passenger like Gaikwad is really a serious issue and cannot be tolerated, both for safety and security reasons in a critical and sensitive industry like aviation. He has set a real example of what happens when the power goes to the head of a politician. If all public representatives start behaving like Gaikwad, only God will save this country. The government needs to act on this soon and should also think about curtailing the special treatment accorded to MPs and MLAs.
