Dalits make up to 200 million out of 1.3 billion population of the country, and are spread across several states. The atrocities and savageries on Scheduled Castes and Tribes are from the beginning. Since India got freedom from the calatches of British Raj, Dalits have always been considered untouchable by the Hindu’s. Closing the last chapter of his life, Dr Ambedkar fought against them and shamed the Hindu caste. Over the past 70 years in Congress they were also oppressed and harassed but after the BJP has come into power in 2014, we have seen a sharp rise in the violence against the Schedule Castes and the Tribal people. And now a very dangerous trend of communal violence is being perpetrated by their affiliates. So it is the BJP who have promoted these vigilantes, who spread the fire of violence across the country. We should understand their wrong intention so that no flam of violence may arise among Hindu and Muslim brothers.
