Dexter Fletcher replaces Bryan Singer on ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’

Dexter Fletcher AVDexter Fletcher has replaced Bryan Singer as the director of Queen frontman Freddie Mercury’s biopic “Bohemian Rhapsody”.

Singer was fired by 20th Century Fox after the director went on leave to take care of his parents leading to a halt in production.

“Bohemian Rhapsody” has actor Rami Malek starring as the legendary singer and shooting for the film was underway in London.

Fletcher, who has directed films such as “Eddie the Eagle” and “Wild Bill” will resume production next week, reported Variety.

The filmmaker will also oversee post-production as Fox hopes to keep the film on track for December 2018.
