There is no smoke without fire and GST has fizzled out citizens Diwali celebrations this year with purchasing power of most people reduced to ashes with high inflation as well as GST which has made all things expensive. Crackers sale ban though is a huge positive both from environment and people’s health point of view. Religion debate needs to be avoided and people should refrain from bursting crackers from pure pollution angle and the hazardous conditions in which they are manufactured. Diwali is a festival of lights and the best way of celebration is to light a lamp in the lives of sick, aged and the poor. Exchanging greetings with fellow citizens irrespective of caste and religion thus strengthening our country’s communal fabric is what makes Diwali festival special. Wishing fellow readers a Very Happy and Prosperous Diwali and New Year!
