Enlivening our long Coast line

We are not sufficiently adventurous vis -a-vis waterborne activity. Mumbai needs to have more public swimming pools. The boats on our Coast need to be more aesthetic, technically superior using green fuel. If we visit gateway of India, we find the jetties in a damaged condition which are unsafe. The wooden boats are old and the crew is shabbily dressed, can be seen as they moor the boats alongside. Maharashtra maritime board must look into it and carve out plans for upgradation.

Shipbuilding and ship repair activity must increase considering that our coastal shipping will develop, cruise industry will develop and more and more ships will be calling our ports. The general public and those who can afford, are encouraged to enjoy various cruise schedules available that will increase your courage and knowledge. You will enjoy various activities on board and enjoy different types of food.

Logistics industry needs to be applauded for facilitating carriage, handling and stowage of different types of cargo.

Our government must not hesitate to bring in many foreign experts to assist in all sorts of marine endeavours.
