SunnySunny Leone’s upcoming film ‘Kuch Kuch Locha Hai’ has created a stir amongst movie lovers, thanks to the actress’ sensuous avatar and mannerisms. No stranger to eroticism, the former adult star enjoys a fan following both in the US and India because of this bold image. In Delhi to promote the Devang Dholakia-directed venture, the ‘Baby Doll’ opened up on how these two culturally different societies react to eroticism.

“The response is the same everywhere. Everybody loves erotic content. However, different societies have varying standards to decide what is acceptable and appropriate for viewing. While in the US almost everything is acceptable, societies such as India are a bit conservative and impose restrictions,” she said.

It is perhaps because of this attitude that a certain section of the Indian society has still not accepted the actress. “Yes, some people still target me because of my past (involvement in adult films),” she stated.

The ‘Jism 2’ star, however, is quick to point out that she is in the industry not to change her past, but to create a bright future.

And that is exactly what her new project intends to do. Being Leone’s first ever comedy film, ‘Kuch Kuch Locha Hai’ could serve as a major test of her acting prowess. But the actress isn’t daunted at all. In fact, as it happens, the Indo-Canadian beauty is no stranger when it comes to making people laugh with her comic timing.

“This is not my first tryst with comedy. In the US I was a part of small group of comics. While I may not be an expert in this genre, thanks to that experience I am familiar with it,” she quipped.

‘Kuch Kuch Locha Hai’, which revolves around a married man’s fascination with a beautiful Bollywood diva, will be released this Friday.
