Flights plight in Mumbai airport

It is indeed a sorry state of affairs that India’s commercial capital airport is facing a sorry plight as more than 600 flights were hit since the upgrading work has started. There will be expected delays till June 5 and it is a bad news for regular fliers. Only during morning hours the delay was within 20 minutes and later on, during the day, the delay lasted from 30 to 45 minutes and that is a bad track record for a busy airport like the Mumbai airport. With the result of upgrading work, number of flights had been cancelled or diverted owing to the unavoidable delay. Even though there is hope for improvement in flight services but it is officially learnt that the passengers are likely to face longer waiting time during the busy summer vacation time.
