Hollywood superstar George Clooney has been named Forbes’ highest-paid actor.
The ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ star has beaten the likes of Scarlett Johansson, Dwayne Johnson and Robert Downey in the publication’s 2018 list of highest earning actors.
According to Forbes, “Thanks to the up to $1 billion purchase of his Casamigos Tequila (the company he founded with Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman in 2013), Clooney scored a career-high pretax paycheck of $239 million between June 1, 2017, and June 1, 2018.”
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson ($124 million) ranks number two on the highest-paid actors’ list. At number three is Robert Downey Jr. ($81 million), followed by Chris Hemsworth ($64.5 million) at the fourth place.
