Internet and technology giant Google has started rolling out a new payment option in India in the form of net banking.

This means that now you can buy apps, movies, books and music from all the Google apps from the Play Store in India even if you don’t have credit, debit or gift cards.

You can go the Play Store and check if you already have the Net Banking options and the decision of the new payment option launch comes after Google recently released a survey that Indians are most likely to pay for digital content or apps.

To see if Net Banking can be done on your device, click on the menu that is generated by the hamburger icon on the left side of the screen and then choose Accounts. Choose payment methods and tap on the ‘+’ button at the bottom right to add the new payment option.

If you have Add Net Banking as an option, click on it and see if your bank is listed. Google has partnered with 38 banks so far. The Net Banking option can be also set as the default payment option. Also, all the recent versions of Google OS (Lollipop, Marshmallow and Nougat) will get the updates.
