India must discontinue talks with Pakistan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has indeed sent a strong message to Pakistan to stop waging “proxy war” and halt ceasefire violations across the borders and unprovoked firing on our soldiers. It seems that instead of the Pakistani-based terrorists….the Pak Army themselves have started directly targeting the Indian soldiers on our borders. They have killed many soldiers for no reason and without any provocation. I think we have lost more soldiers in these “proxy wars” on the borders than we would in the conventional war. When will our government have the courage to isolate Pakistan! India should not have bilateral talks with Pakistan until it stops sponsoring terror activities. No diplomatic relations, no cultural and bilateral relations, no commerce and trade, no transport and no sports too. Hit where it hurts. Cripple Pakistan economically at least. India must stop the so called peace talks for ever (let us not bother what the US or UN will say or dictate!)

We should discontinue “peace talks” at any levels till Pakistani soldiers stop ceasefire violations and firing. In the name of “peace talks”, all we have witnessed is the visit of Pakistani PM, certain dignitaries and officials, photo-ops with Indian officials, then a visit to the Taj Mahal and photographs therein. In all such meetings the decisions taken are only to have another round of meetings and talks at a later date; and this has been going on for several decades. And in the meanwhile, there is only large scale engineering of terrorism and ceasefire violations across the borders.

I want to ask how long we are going to refer those areas which are under the illegal occupation of Pakistan as ‘Pakistan occupied Kashmir’? Are our politicians and leaders not ashamed to see our territory being referred to as “Pak Occupied”? Do we have something called “India occupied Karachi” (IOK) or Bharat occupied Islamabad (BOI)? Why can’t we take this matter up at the UN/global/international level and get back this so called PAK-Occupied Kashmir and make this as an integral part of J&K, for once and for all? Pakistan must vacate the areas of Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir which they have occupied through aggression. No doubt war is not the solution…..but at least let the Home Minister, Prime Minister and the government have courage to take tough decisions? How long will India be seen as a soft state? It’s now time to cry “Enough is Enough – Go for Actions.”

Hope our PM Narendra Modi will indeed teach a tough lesson to Pakistan; to begin with start isolating Pakistan in every sphere. And India should discontinue having dialogue with Pakistan until it dismantles terror infrastructure from its soil.
