India should be in friendly terms with Pakistan

Now-a-days, terrorism in India is increasing more and more. And for that, we are responsible because among us there and some people who are at higher post in government sectors. They take bribe from terrorists and allow them to enter the country.

The word ‘terrorism’ terrorises our minds. Terrorism is a major problem today not only in India, but in the whole world. The roots of terrorism are so vast and it is growing day by day and thus we cannot eliminate it completely but we can restrict it to some extent. Terrorists have no religion nor do they have any softness in their hearts towards people. Even children and infants are not spared. They just want to sow seeds of fear and terror in every human mind. But since it is a problem in the world, every country should come forward to fight it. As one of my friends said, the causes of terrorism are poverty, illiteracy, unemployment, hatred and corruption and I fully agree with him.

Pakistan, since the time of independence is the main source of terrorism. Pakistan sends its terrorists to India to cause heavy destruction to life and property from time to time. They have wisely used the poor youth of Jammu and Kashmir and also Afghanistan in the name of brotherhood and jihad to help them in their activities. They kill people so barbarously for no reason at all. In order to stop all these terrorist activities, we must live in harmony and be friendly with our neighbouring countries, especially Pakistan and not fight in the name of religion. Only then we will be able to rid our nation of terrorism and all such corrupt activities.

I quote what India’s freedom fighter Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan has said: “My religion is truth, love and service to God and humanity. Every religion that has come into the world has brought the message of love and brotherhood. Those who are indifferent to the welfare of their fellowmen, whose hearts are empty of love, they do not know the meaning of religion.”

Babur, the founder of the Mughal Empire in India is said to have left a will to his son, Humayun which is still preserved in the State Museum of Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh. The contents of the will are that Babur informs his son Humayun, that Hindustan is the home of many faiths. He has to be respectful and impartial towards all of them and ought not to destroy or disturb any shrine of any religious order. But what is happening today? All religious structures and shrines are being destroyed, demolished or desecrated. Our present-day politicians do not care for the people and have no respect for them, especially the minority communities. In the name of religion, they destroy/desecrate religious structures and kill god’s angelic people.

In my opinion, terrorism is nothing but fight for something in a cruel way.
