In the past we heard about Jai Jawan and Jai Kisan slogans going a long way in bringing unity in diversity in this country. Now the civilian failure came to the fore as SOS to army seen as admission in making of FOB at the Elphinstone Road station of Mumbai. In a shock admission of its own failure, the Indian Railways and the Government of Maharashtra have roped the army to construct a foot over bridge in the hope of doing the work in the warlike fashion and to the satisfaction of each and every one using the FOB. The Army has the primary duty of fighting war but is known to assist civilians in emergency situations as well. Modi Government in the Centre and the Maharashtra State Government do things in a unique way and this time the tough task is given to army. It is emergency, hence, the army was called. This government wants to prove it is doing something out of the day. Possibly this FOB will be made of metal and can be used for 10 years without any mishap considering the heavy flow of commuters passing through this arrangement. It is indeed unique. Jai FOB.
