An Indian worker is battling for his life after being hit by an over-speeding car today while crossing a road in Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh Province.
The incident took place in front of the municipality building at Dawadmi town in Riyadh Province, Saudi Gazette reported.
Eyewitnesses said the errant driver, who hit the worker, was travelling at a high speed.
The impact of the coalition was so much that the Indian, whose identity is being ascertained, was thrown into the air and came down crashing on the ground.
He was immediately rushed by paramedics to a nearby Al-Dawadmi Hospital where he was admitted to the intensive care unit. His condition was stated to be critical.
The Yemeni driver, meanwhile, was arrested and sent to jail. Further investigations were underway.
