Infosys founder N.R. Narayana Murthy is killing Infosys by his googlies and his recent spat of doubting the Company Board headed by Nandan Nilekani which gave a clean chit to former CEO Vishal Sikka is unwarranted. The Board did not find any wrongdoing in the Israeli company Panama acquisition and severance package given to former CFO Rajiv Bansal and the IT czar should respect this fact and move on in life.
The software companies are passing through turbulence time and Murthy should not make wild accusations without substantial evidence which is destroying shareholders wealth at Infosys which once was the bellwether IT giant. Narayana Murthy is a respected name in the corporate world and we don’t doubt his intentions but he should respect and trust the Infosys Board which is today headed by Nandan Nilekani, his own good friend and co-founder of the company!
