Kylie Jenner sure sparked questions about the status of her relationship with Tyga this holiday.
After the 18-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star posted a photo of a dazzling diamond on Dec. 25, fans began to wonder if she and the 26-year-old rapper had gotten engaged. Jenner set the record straight on Saturday.
“Every year my Mom throws a huge Christmas Eve party and this year’s was so fun (and sparkly)! It was really special to end such a big year celebrating with all of my friends and family… and with an extra special gift from a special someone,” she wrote on her app.
The youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan spent Thursday night partying with her family at Kris Jenner’s famed Christmas Eve party, where her mom showed off similarly massive rings.
Jenner and Tyga (born Michael Ray Stevenson) began dating in late 2014, but the couple became much more open about their relationship after Jenner celebrated her most recent birthday. Their relationship went through a rough patch (albeit for just a few days) in late November, though this weekend’s posts show they’re still going strong.
Jenner told Ellen DeGeneres on the comedian’s daytime talk show last month that she and Tyga “became best friends before anything happened, so I think that’s awesome and we’re just like, I don’t know, hanging out. Living life.”
