It is not just perception

The true Bhakti happens when one becomes devoid of thoughts and it is also said Mukti as per teachings of Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi. The clear description of the state of Bhakti makes one ponder over the misperceived Bhakti as one sees today. The true Bhakt loses his mind and in the absence of that, there is no thought. When the mind is defunct and only one thought of God remains and it becomes Bhakti. When the aspirant remains in this state with least expectation of anything, it culminates in Mukti. The latter term connotes “Liberation”. One gets liberated from the clutches of disintegrated mind which is volatile in nature. Lord Hanumanji is depicted as the epitome of love and devotion. By taking the name of Shri Ram, he has made it obvious that the thoughts are absent and he is lost in himself. Indeed, the one without thoughts is God himself. This state is not mere perception but the realisation by the Grace of self.

Most of us realise God and religious sentiments only under troublesome circumstances. The intensity of feeling thus generated stimulates thought and triggers of your capacity for expression to unknown heights. Religion is an awakened sense of higher unseen controlling power or powers. Being unseen we have to meditate, concentrate and pray from the chaff and the essential from the unessential in our life. Apart from this, as the Americans say we have to hitch our wagging to a star, that should be a goal in your life. A goal that is selfless and sharply focused on God, the Almighty. You have to put him in the driver’s seat and completely surrender to his will. Anything can happen to you anytime or to your near and dear ones or a community or a group known or unknown. You have absolutely no power to come to the rescue. But God only is omnipotent. While you see only up to the tip of the nose. God can see far beyond and knows what is good or bad under the circumstances, and why it to happen.

A philosophical approach leads to the conclusion that everything happening is for your good, it may appear to be bad. You on your part should stay alive all your life no matter what happens and an insignificant dot in this universe, a dot that can be erased at any moment at the will of God. Therefore, your endeavour should be to lead a good life; upright, honest as righteous as it could be, strengthen the hands of God, the arbitrator of this universe and to whom we owe the throb in our life the Gian. Worldly pleasures wealth and power should be considered as God’s blessings.

One should have a lot in your mind and heart so much that one is praying about for quite a while, and even more currently so, we figure getting an online prayer circle going would not hurt. Much love to everyone who reads this. We believe that when someone asks you to pray for them, you pray because prayers are free and should be given wholeheartedly. We decided to do this because we are all standing in the need of prayer and so many others are as well. Let us pray for each other today, regardless of who or what your spiritual foundations are. All prayers needed right now. Do it for all of us, for nobody is immune.

We hope to see this on the walls of all my family and friends just for moral support. I did it for a friend and you can too. Praying for several families and people in need is the need of the hour. We achieve a great satisfaction when we seek blessings for others and not to think about you all the time.
