The notorious executioner of Islamic State Mohammed Emwazi, better know as ‘Jihadi John’, has for the first time appeared in a video without a balaclava and revealed his face.

In the video that lasts for over one minute, the ISIS executioner is seen staring right into the camera with his uncovered face when he spouts the threats against Britain saying he will return to the UK to continue “cutting off heads”, reports the Daily Mail.

The first picture of British ISIS executioner Jihadi John’s face as an adult was published in February this year when he was shown as a model student at the University of Westminster.

The Daily Mail that has a seven-second excerpt footage from the video, says that in the video, Jihadi John vowed to return to Britain to carry more beheadings.

Swathed in black and wearing a cap under his hood, he then turns and stares directly into the lens before looking away to scan the desert.

Emwazi, christened Jihadi John by western media, can be heard clearly saying in a British accent: “I will carry on cutting heads.”

Johadi John was identified as Mohammed Emwazi this year, a British ‘known wolf’ who grew up in London and fled to Syria in 2012.

Emwazi was last seen in another beheading video of the ISIS in January, in which he was seen killing Japanese hostage Kenji Goto.

Emwazi has appeared in seven videos released by ISIS since August 2014, when he beheaded US journalist James Foley. In September 2014, he appeared in a video showing the beheading of US journalist Steve Sotloff and British aid worker David Haines.
