Young spinner Karn Sharma was on Monday ruled out of India’s tour of Zimbabwe.
The leg-spinner sustained an injury to his finger. However, his replacement was not named.
The BCCI confirmed the news of Sharma’s injury through their official account on social micro-blogging site Twitter.
Sharma was announced in the squad announced by the BCCI on June 29.
Ajinkya Rahane was named as captain in the absence of many senior players.
India is slated to play three ODIs and two T20s against Zimbabwe.
The first ODI is scheduled to be played on July 10.
