1) Investigation necessary

It refers to a viral video that went viral on all TV news-channels on August 24, 2018, wherein a person guilty of traffic-violation in Bhopal went on claiming that he was the brother-in-law of MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. When quizzed by the media-persons, he tried to wash out the incident in a lighter vein by saying that he was the brother-in-law of so many persons because crores of women considered Shivraj Singh Chauhan as their brother.

Even though Bhopal Traffic-Police sent an e-challan of Rs 3,000 to the violator, yet the matter needs to be examined and the reality needs to be exposed if the traffic-violator was indeed the real brother-in-law of the state Chief Minister.

2) Goats cannot be replaced with cakes

It is being observed in our country that some people are saying that the Muslim should change their old traditions in accordance with this modern age. As they should not sacrifice the goats on the occasion of Bakri Eid, rather they should cut the cakes made in the shape of goat or having an image of a goat in a symbolic sacrifice of Bakri Eid. Some so-called Muslims are also following them. But, in my opinion, it is the result of a lack of knowledge about the Islam religion. No doubt about it that they have a lot of knowledge about the present era but they must know something about the Islam too and then only they should set an opinion about any other religion.

3) An alarming situation

Increasing sexual abuses, especially in the children across the country, creates an alarming situation for the Indian government and its citizens. According to the National Crime Records Bureau, in every 30 minutes, a child is sexually abused in this country. The matter happens more critical when the guardians are found unaware, i.e. parents at the home and teachers at the school. I request the parents and the teachers to protect the children from evil persons and make them understand how they must behave with the strangers.

4) Truly proud of our armed forces!

Hat’s off to the Indian Navy as they have rescued a pregnant woman by airlifting her through a helicopter minutes before she delivered a baby in the flood-hit Kerala in one of the most daring rescue operations that everybody saw on television. Beautiful Kerala is amidst the worst floods ever witnessed in the country. There have been thousands of casualties and the entire state has been turned into a sea. The unsung armed forces are trying their best at the risk of their own lives to save as many people as possible.

The entire country should join hands to help our fellow citizens in whatever manner possible in their hour of need as the situation seems critical at the moment in Kerala. The government should press emergency services to the fullest and fight the natural disaster on a war footing. Political differences and other issues should be forgotten by all and let us put our focus on the flood-ravaged State so that normalcy returns there soon. There could be outbursts of diseases in and around the State which usually happens at times of natural calamity and the government should be prepared for any eventuality so that the situation can be handled with minimum casualties!

5) Navjot Singh Sidhu is not an anti-nationalist

The issue of Navjot Singh Sidhu participating in Imran Khan’s swearing ceremony is being politicised only for political advantages. Participation in Imran Khan’s swearing ceremony or hugging Pakistan’s Army Chief do not mean to be an anti-nationalist or traitor. We cannot forget Sidhu’s contributions and sacrifices he made for our country in both Cricket and the political fields. Some ill-thoughts and so-called patriots are targeting him only because of their own advantages. It is not in the countenance of the country, rather it may lead to harm our country. The administration should take a strict step against those who are creating a conspiracy against Sidhu for no reason.
