Smriti Mandhana does a Virat Kohli as she fired a quick fire 135 to help India take 2-0 lead in the series, which is part of the ICC Women’s Championship. It is an Indian summer in South Africa as both our men’s and women’s team have performed brilliantly in the ODI’s with wins that have been one-sided against the more fancied South Africans on home soil.
Kudos to Indian pacer Jhulan Goswami for becoming the first female Cricketer in the world to take 200 ODI wickets, which indeed is an incredible achievement. Our women’s team may have lost the World Cup last year by a very narrow margin but this team is a world-beater and we would hear a lot about their achievements in the years to come.
