Meizu, the Chinese smartphone manufacturing firm is planning to launch a new smartphone namely Meizu Pro 6. As of now, there are a less number of smartphones sporting a massive 6GB of RAM and now, Meizu Pro 6 will be entering the line of huge memory devices. While the popular ‘King of the ring’ when it comes to hardware specifications is certainly the Vivo XPlay 5 Elite with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM, quite large seems to be coming our way indeed.
Though Meizu has not made any official confirmation regarding its forthcoming Pro 6 flagship mobile, the rumors that are spreading out suggests that, this smartphone would be having 6GB of RAM. As per the Gizchina reports, it is said that Meizu Pro 6 would come up in two different versions. Among them, the first variant would be having the 6GB of RAM along with 128GB of internal storage whereas the second variant will feature the 4GB of RAM having 64GB of built-in storage.
There is no worth that the Meizu’s Pro 5 has been also released in two different variants i.e., one with 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM having 32GB internal storage that costs CNY 2,799 (nearly Rs. 29,000), and the other variant is 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM that comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage that costs CNY 3,099 (around Rs. 32,100).
Other Alleged Meizu Pro 6 Smartphone Specifications
The other specifications that are rumored regarding the Meizu Pro 6 where that, it is said to have a full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution screen, quick charging technology and Exynos 8890 SoC or process, Hi-Fi 3.0. The smartphone is said to run on Flyme OS 6.0 that is out-of-the-box.
If these rumored specifications would be correct, it would be the first time that Meizu would be using the processor that was made by Samsung. The firm has already launched its flagship handset the Pro 5, that features Samsung Exynos 7420 octa-core processor (quad-core 2.1GHz Cortex-A57 + quad-core 1.5GHz Cortex-A53) that is combined with Mali T760 MP8 GPU under the cover.
Last month, Meizu has teamed up with Canonical for launching their 2nd Ubuntu Smartphone and it is the Meizu Pro 5 Ubuntu Edition. The Pro 5 Ubuntu Edition looks similar to the Pro 5 Smartphone of the Meizu that was released in the month of September previous year, which is expected to run on Ubuntu OS (previously Ubuntu Touch OS) as a substitute to Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
