Australian skipper Michael Clarke has had some of the toughest days of his life after losing fellow national teammate and close friend Phil Hughes in a tragic accident on the cricket field. Hughes passed away last Thursday after being hit by a bouncer bowled by Sean Abott in the Sheffield Shield match between Southern Australia and New South Wales.
Clarke who will be one of the pallbearers and will lead tributes at the funeral of Hughes in Macksville on Wednesday, said that it is going to be a tough day with the ceremony taking place.
Clarke expressed his views on social micro-blogging site Twitter. He shared a photo on Instagram alongside Phil Hughes.
The funeral is going to be attended by the Australian Test squad as well as past and present luminaries of the game including Mark Taylor, Sir Richard Hadlee, Brian Lara, Virat Kohli, Ravi Shastri, Shane Warne, Mike Hussey, Ricky Ponting, Brett Lee, Adam Gilchrist and Glenn McGrath.
