Mick Jagger has promised a five figure sum every month to the ballerina carrying his eighth child .
Melanie Hamrick , 29, and the tot – due in December – will also have their house paid for, wherever she chooses to settle.
The dancer, who has dated the Rolling Stones singer “casually” for two years, became pregnant during the band’s tour of South America earlier this year.
But Sir Mick, 72 , has made it clear the couple are not serious. Instead he has given a string of legally binding assurances that their child will be provided for.
It echoes his deal with Luciana Gimenez, the Brazilian mum of his love child Lucas – born in 1999 after the rocker’s fling behind the back of then girlfriend Jerry Hall.
News of the baby – Sir Mick’s first for 17 years – emerged last month.
The rock icon already has four children with model Jerry, as well as a daughter with ex-wife Bianca Jagger, a daughter with Marsha Hunt, and Lucas.
A source said: “Mick has always taken his responsibilities seriously, his child with Melanie will be no exception.
“They’re not in a serious relationship but they’re both happy and remain very close.
“This gives Melanie and the baby the assurances they need. She’ll get a substantial allowance and Mick will pay for housing wherever Melanie decides is best.”
It is understood the allowance could be up to 15,000 dollars monthly, until the child is grown up.
Melanie lives in New York – but may move to Los Angeles, nearer Mick, or to Connecticut, close to family.
The band are currently celebrating the success of their show Exhibitionism, ending next week at London’s Saatchi Gallery before opening in New York in November.
Luciana said recently of Mick, worth £230million: “He loves all his kids, he’s so close to them all. Money can cause trouble if you give your kids too much. Happiness is from within.”
