Since assembly election is just round the corner Raj Thackeray led MNS has launched free Wi-Fi connection for Vile Parle residents. Earlier the party was planning to start this service at Shivaji Park, Dadar. The BMC had stopped the MNS workers from digging the roads around Shivaji Park for installing free Wi-fi connection as they had failed to obtain permission for the same.

“Shiv Sena had promised to provide free Wi-Fi connection across the city one and half year ago but they failed to fulfill it. This project is being started on a pilot basis and if it succeeds then it will be implemented across the city” said MNS group leader Sandeep Desphande

“The Shiv Sena has filed a complaint mentioning that the Wi-Fi project is illegal. However, we have taken prior permission from the BMC” added Sandeep further.
