Frankly speaking there is no alternative leader who even comes close to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s work ethics, honesty and hard working abilities in the country be it from his own party or otherwise. Modi is still popular in the country inspite of the failure of demonetization because the intentions were right but government bureaucracy and banking sector let him down.
Modi’s honeymoon period now seems over and his two years in office would be decisive if he is to be re-elected as PM in 2019. With elections over in all states where they were held, Modi should concentrate on governance. Coalition politics which works on common minimum programme is bad for nation’s progress.
