The Moto X Force, which Motorola claims is the world’s first smartphone to come with a shatterproof display, will be launched in India soon.

Moto X ForceThe Moto X Force will be the most premium Motorola phone in the Indian market since its re-entry to the Indian market. According to sources, Motorola is planning at pricing the phone at around Rs 50,000, which is a good Rs 20,000 higher than its existing flagship phone in the Indian market – the Moto X Style. However, given Motorola’s past record of pricing its devices for the Indian market, we would expect it to be priced between Rs 40,000 and Rs 45,000.

The Moto X Force uses the Moto ShatterShield display technology, which is said to be an integrated system consisting of five layers designed from materials that absorb shock from impact and are guaranteed not to shatter.

It features a 5.4-inch Quad HD display, 21 megapixel rear camera, and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera. Under the hood is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 with 2.0 GHz octa-core CPUs. The phone supports a microSD card of up to 2TB.
