Amitabh Bachchan starrer movie Bombay to Goa hit the silver screen in the year 1972 and gave the audience how a bus route to the place can be entertaining. A bus trip across India laden with music, danger, comedy and romance made it a big time movie then. After 45 years, Mumbai-Goa train Tejas is going to take you to the highest level of pleasurable travel.

India’s latest fleet of train Tejas and the doors of the train open and close automatically. Children will have fun and frolic inside the train. They can enjoy angry birds and other games inside Tejas train. First AC Chair Car is available if you are ready to shell out more for better comfort level during the journey.

Honourable Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu is going to flag off this train. This train does have one AC executive chair car and 12 AC chair cars for your pleasurable travel.  It halts at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Ratnagiri and Kudal. High speed, Air conditioned train between Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) , Mumbai and Karmali (Goa) for the first time in Indian Railways, which is a state of the art of the train capable of running at the high speed of 200 km per hour, with ultra modern facilities like on board infotainment, WiFi, CC TV, Fire and Smoke detection facilities. Inaugural train will leave CST at 15.25 hours and will arrive at Karmali at 00.35 hours next day. It will be a 5 days weekly train during the non-monsoon period and will be reduced to three times in a week during the peak monsoon period. The fair will be Rs.955 with catering for the AC chair car with 12 bogies attached to it. Let us enjoy week end by traveling through this train with all comforts and provide your family and more so for the children the journey of their live time in India.
