Actor Joe Manganiello thinks the stripping skills he learned for “Magic Mike XXL” helped him convince Sofia Vergara to marry him.
The 38-year-old actor, who is engaged to the “Modern Family” beauty, believes the moves he learned for the stripper movie helped him secure his relationship with his bride-to-be, reported Contactmusic.
“All I can say is we weren’t engaged when I was shooting the movie and then I learned all my moves and somehow wound up engaged, so I think this film had something to do with that,” he said during the European premiere of the film.
Manganiello – who attended the premiere alongside Jada Pinkett Smith, Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Matt Bomer, Amber Heard, Adam Rodriguez and the film’s director Gregory Jacobs – also revealed he is letting his wife take control when it comes to planning the wedding.
When asked about getting ready for big day, he said, “Well we’re pretty traditional in that way. She’s doing it.”
