Navi Mumbai is becoming the most sought after destination for those people who want to live a quiet and peaceful life. Broad roads, greenery all along the roads, neat and clean atmosphere and fresh air all gives you pleasure
of living a happy life. The city should have metro railways to ease the woes of commuters. Further, the metro link should be extended upto Pune to give the tourist and the locals get maximum benefit and at the same time they can enjoy the scenic beauty on the way at a closer range through the expressway. Roads are well maintained and the traffic flow is rather smooth and safe in the satellite city. The Palm Beach Road drive is enjoyable but for few accidents here and there. More speed breakers have to be put in place to control the speed limit. Power and water supply come handy in this belt. With Morbe Dam catering to the needs of major Navi Mumbai belt we rarely face water cut like it happens in Mumbai. With better control over electricity supply in recent years the power cut has been completely eliminated.
The connectivity within the city has improved a lot due to local trains. Even BEST and NMMT buses take most of the load and the recent introduction of Air-conditioned buses in the belt solved commuter problem in the best way possible. Town planning has assumed greater importance with gardens at all focal points to get fresh air. When you enter Navi Mumbai through Vashi bridge you can feel the fresh air hitting you and you feel like going for sleep. With greenery all around and mountain in the backdrop we enjoy heaven on earth and the atmosphere is pollution free as well. Recreation part is taken care by the Clubs within the Housing premises or multiplexes in and around the city. With several picnic spot in the vicinity and Lonawalla/Khandala nearby we can even visit hill station which is just an hour’s drive.
With Kharghar getting the much needed facelift we have Hare Rama Hare Krishna Temple, Hydel Park just like the one in London, Golf Course and Airport coming up within next five years will boost realty prices in this belt. Housing complexes are available in plenty as per the budget and at prime localities. Even though Vashi and Nerul are totally saturated, Airoli, Koperkhaine, Sanpada, Belapur, Ghansoli, Kamothe, Kharghar, Panvel and New Panvel are best bet for going for new purchases. Trade and commerce picked up very well with most of the offices and markets shifting to this place. The spacious offices cater to the needs of Banks and other establishments. Future prospect in this newly developed city is very good and people opt for fresh and more spacious space rather than living in a cramped place. There lies the best option in Navi Mumbai.
