Ever since Modi took over as the Prime Minister, considerable efforts are taken by various ministry heads are trying to bring reforms and successfully implement it in a course of time. The government notified a simpler, one-page form for filing income-tax returns while making it mandatory to quote Aadhaar number and disclose Bank deposits of more than Rs. 2 lakh post demonetisation. This is a right step in the right direction and even housewives can fill up the form very easily. It is a welcome change to the earlier cumber form for filling details. Filing of income-tax has become a simple exercise as the crisp IT form solved all the complications in one stroke.
