Phenomenal success of PV Sindhu came in the Korean Open Super Series in Seoul as she defeated Nozomi Okuhara in three games in a thrilling summit clash to clinch the Women’s singles title. Sindhu was in irresistible form as she won her 3rd Super Series Title in style after going down in the second game 11-21. The final game was rather thrilling and she won the thriller to become first shuttler from our country to win Korea Open Super Series Title.

It was a neck to neck fight as both the players won 113 total points at the end of 83 minutes play. Sindhu has lost to Okuhara in the World Championship Final in Glasgow in an epic battle and made amend for her loss in a fitting way. She is a shining star in Indian badminton and her coach worked on her attacking game and that paid rich dividends.
