Congress fighting political challenges, Bharat Jodo Yatra has brought unity in party: Jairam Ramesh 2

The Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Yatra has brought unity in the Congress in the last 70 days as the party has been fighting political challenges, senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said on Tuesday.

The foot march, a mass contact initiative of the Congress, entered its 69th day on Tuesday and reached Washim district in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra from Hingoli. Addressing a press conference in Washim, Ramesh said Gandhi will also address a public meeting of tribals on the occasion of the birth anniversary of iconic tribal freedom fighter Birsa Munda. Targeting the Centre, Ramesh claimed the Forest Rights Act and the Land Acquisition Act 2013 have been weakened and this is specially harmful for tribals.

The legislations were brought during the rule of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA). Ramesh alleged that the Narendra Modi government’s policy was to forcefully take the land of farmers and give it to the big companies. The Bharat Jodo Yatra has nothing to do with the vote bank. It’s purpose is above politics, the Congress leader said. ”It is the yatra of a political party and we are fighting political challenges,” he said. ”One thing is clearly seen that the way our party has united in the last 70 days…the way we have started working on time. There is an Indian Standard Time and there is a Congress Standard Time,” he added. On Tuesday morning, Gandhi started the foot march from Phalegaon in Hingoli district. Ramesh, former Maharashtra minister Yashomati Thakur and other party leaders walked along with Gandhi. Ramesh remembered tribal leader Birsa Munda on his birth anniversary on Tuesday.

He posted a tweet saying, ”Today is the 69th day of #BharatJodoYatra and the 147th birth anniversary of Birsa Munda, born just 15 days later than Sardar Patel. But tragically, he died in a British jail in Ranchi at the very young age of 25.” ”An adivasi (not vanvasi as the RSS calls tribals), Birsa Munda should be an inspiration to ALL Indians. The causes for which he laid down his life, particularly tribal land rights are still most relevant today,” Ramesh added.

The government had last year declared November 15 as Janjatiya Gaurav Divas’ on the birth anniversary of Munda to remember the contribution of tribal freedom fighters. The Bharat Jodo Yatra, which started from Kanniyakumari in Tamil Nadu on September 7, has so far covered 28 districts in six states.

It entered Deglur in Maharashtra on November 7 and has till now covered Nanded and Hingoli districts in the state. The yatra will cover a distance of 382 km across five districts of Maharashtra before entering Madhya Pradesh on November 20.

It will pass through 12 states before culminating in Jammu and Kashmir in January after covering a distance of 3,570 km over nearly 150 days.

Another witness in the case of 2008 Malegaon Blast turned hostile on Tuesday. This is the 29th witness who has turned hostile so far.

This person had given statements to the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) in 2008 about accused Lt Col Prasad Purohit and Sudhakar Chaturvedi.

Previously, the 28th witness turned hostile on November 5 after he told the special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court that he does not remember the statement he had given to earlier investigative agency- Maharashtra Anti-Terror Squad (ATS).

This witness had reportedly given a statement against the sitting Bhopal MP Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur and another accused, identified as Dayanand Pandey, of this case during the initial investigation done by Maharashtra ATS.

However, on November 5, he came before the special NIA court and was confronted with the facts of his statement.

He said that he doesn’t remember what he had said in his statement to Maharashtra ATS earlier.

He told the special NIA court that he is 75 years old and that is why it is difficult for him to remember what he had said in his statement. Earlier in September and August, two other witnesses of the case had turned hostile during the special NIA court hearing. One of them, who worked at a hotel in Indore, refused to partially say in court what he had stated earlier to the investigating agency.

On September 29, 2008, six people were killed and over 100 others were injured after an explosive device placed on a motorcycle exploded in Maharashtra’s Malegaon city in Nashik town.

All the seven accused in the case are currently on bail. On October 23, 2008, the Maharashtra ATS made its first arrest in connection to the case by apprehending BJP MP Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur.

Later, other accused including Sameer Kulkarni, retired Major Ramesh Upadhyay, Sudhakar Chaturvedi, Ajay Rahilkar and Sudhakar Chaturvedi were also caught. On January 20, 2009, the ATS filed a charge sheet in the case after completing its investigation. In April 2011, the central government transferred the investigation into the case to the NIA

What's wrong with people in love these days, why are they turning into murderers? 6

A Muslim boy Aftab Ameen Poonawala and Shraddha Walkar a Hindu girl working in a call centre in Mumbai fell in love with each other. Aftab and Shraddha met on a dating site and later moved in together at a rented accommodation in Chhatarpur. Delhi police received a complaint from Shraddha’s father and registered an FIR on November 10. Sharadha’s parents opposed this relationship because it was inter-religious. Shradha was insisting on marriage whereas Aftab was not interested in commitment. They were in a live-in relationship for three years and had shifted to Delhi. Soon after the two shifted to Delhi, Shraddha started pressuring the man to marry her. The two quarrelled frequently and it used to get out of control.

Aftab Ameen Poonawala, strangled Shraddha Walkar on May 18 after they had a fight. He then chopped her body into 35 pieces and bought a 300-litre fridge to keep them. Over the next 18 days, he disposed of the pieces in different areas of the Mehrauli forest. The duo fell in love while working in Mumbai and came to Delhi by April-end or May first week after facing opposition from their families. While they were living in the national capital, they had an argument in mid-May over marriage, which escalated, and he strangled her. Before killing Shraddha, Aftab Amin Poonawalla had googled methods of blood cleaning and read about human anatomy after the murder.

Aftab, after searching on Google, cleaned blood stained from the floor with some chemicals and disposed of stained clothes. He shifted the body to the bathroom and bought a refrigerator from a nearby shop. Later, he chopped the body into small pieces and put them in the fridge. Aftab used to sleep every day in the same room where he had chopped the body after killing Shraddha. Aftab cleaned the fridge after disposing of the body parts.

In September, Shraddha’s friend informed her family that there was no contact with Shradhha for the last two and a half months and her mobile number was also switched off. Her family also checked her social media accounts and found no updates during this period. In November, Shraddha’s father Vikash Madan Walker, a resident of Palghar (Maharashtra), approached Mumbai police and lodged a missing person complaint. During the initial investigation, Shraddha’s last location was found in Delhi, and on the basis of this, the case was transferred to Delhi police.

Aftab, during questioning, confessed to the crime and said that they fought often as Shraddha was pressurizing him for marriage. Police also recovered some bones from Aftab’s rented flat and officials said that the efforts to recover the remaining parts of the body were on. Some remains were recovered from the forest, but it is not known if they are human remains. The knife used by the accused, who was reportedly trained as a chef, has also not been found yet.

The National Commission for Women has asked Delhi Police to conduct a fair and time-bound probe into the killing of the woman. Living in relationships has a lot wrong with them. First of all, they are driven by lust, instead of commitment. Socially too, they put a stigma on you and your family. More often than not, there is secrecy involved in such relationships, which can lead to deception and even crimes.

In another incident it took four years of investigation, finally, Ghaziabad police pulled out a man’s body buried in a neighbour’s house, and claimed to have cracked the murder with the arrest of his wife and the neighbour with whom she had an affair. The woman, Savita, had originally filed a kidnap case about her husband, Chandra Vir, in 2018. Throughout, she had been trying to deflect the blame onto his younger brother. The murder case says the woman and her lover, Arun, shot and hacked her husband, and then buried him in a pit six to seven feet deep in Arun’s house, from where the decomposed body — reduced to a skeleton — was dug out today.

After covering the pit with cement flooring, Arun continued to live in the house. The pit had been kept ready for some days before they found the chance to kill him. They kept it deep so that there was no stench. A pistol and an axe used in the murder have been found.  The murder came to light on a day when another murder was reported from Ghaziabad and yet another from neighbouring Delhi. Why are love and relations turning so cruel and brutal that the partners are killing each other? From where these monsters are born?

Shraddha Walker murder case: Father suspects “love jihad” angle; demands death penalty to accused

Shraddha Walker Murder Case Love Jihad Delhi Police

Father of Shraddha Walker, a Maharashtra girl who was allegedly murdered by her live-in partner Aftab in the national capital, on Tuesday demanded a death penalty for the accused while also suspecting a “love jihad” angle behind the incident.

Speaking to agencies, Shraddha’s father, Vikas Walker said, “I suspected a love jihad angle. We demand the death penalty for Aftab. I trust Delhi Police and the probe moving in the right direction. Shraddha was close to her uncle and didn’t talk to me much. I was never in touch with Aftab. I lodged the first complaint in Mumbai’s Vasai.”

Delhi Police probe into the Shraddha Walker murder case has revealed that the accused Aftab Poonawalla was a food blogger who used to work at a call centre in the national capital.

The police are now investigating if he had rented a flat in Delhi’s Chhatarpur area as part of a conspiracy to kill the victim. The police investigation has also revealed that the couple had frequent fights.

According to police sources, before shifting to Delhi in 2022, the couple had come into a relationship in 2019. They stayed in Maharashtra for some time but used to visit various places as part of their travel plans.

According to the police, they went to hill stations in March-April. Both of them had travelled to Himachal Pradesh for a few days in May and stayed together where they met a man who lived in Delhi’s Chhatarpur.

As per reports, upon shifting to Delhi, they had initially stayed at the flat of the same Man whom they met in Himachal. However, the stay did not change the situation between them.

Later, Aftab rented a flat in Chhatarpur where he shifted with Shraddha. She was reportedly strangled to death on May 18 in the Chhatarpur flat. The police have come to know that the room was taken on rent a few days before the murder.

“It is also a matter of investigation whether Aftab had already hatched a conspiracy to kill her,” the police sources said.

The accused told the police during interrogation that he used to take the pieces of the dead body to the disposal at 2:00 am due to the little movement of people at this hour. The police have come to know that the accused Aftab has done his graduation and lived in Mumbai with his family.

“Looking at Aftab’s social media, it is known that he had also done food blogging for some time, although no video had come about his blogging for a long time. His last post came in the month of February, after which there was no activity on the profile. He has more than 28,000 followers on his Instagram,” the sources said.

According to the police, till some time back both Shraddha and Aftab used to work in the call center. “It is learned that after the murder, Aftab used to come back home by 6-7 pm and then used to take the pieces of the dead body kept in the fridge there for disposal. The accused used to carry the pieces of the carcass in a black foil but had thrown the pieces out of the foil in the forest, making it difficult to ascertain if the pieces were thrown or the remains were due to animal hunting,” the sources said.

Delhi Police solved a six-month-old blind murder case and arrested a man for allegedly killing his 28-year-old live-in partner, chopping her body into 35 pieces and disposing of them at different places in and around the national capital.

The accused identified as Aftab Amin Poonawalla (28), a resident of Mumbai, was caught on Saturday on the basis of the deceased’s father’s complaint and has been sent to police remand for five days, the police said on Monday.

Aftab and Shraddha met on a dating site and later moved in together at a rented accommodation in Chhatarpur. Delhi police received a complaint from Shraddha’s father and registered an FIR on November 10.

Police said that Aftab, after searching on Google, cleaned blood stained from the floor with some chemicals and disposed of stained clothes. He shifted the body in the bathroom and bought a refrigerator from a nearby shop. Later, he chopped the body into small pieces and put them in the fridge. Officials said that Shraddha Walker (27) from Mumbai, met the Aftab while working at a call center in Mumbai.

“The two got together via a dating app in Mumbai. They were in a live-in relationship for three years and had shifted to Delhi. Soon after the two shifted to Delhi, Shraddha started pressurizing the man to marry her,” Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), South Delhi Ankit Chauhan told agencies.

“The two quarrelled frequently and it used to get out of control. In this particular instance that occurred on May 18, the man lost his temper and strangled her,” said Chouhan.

“The accused told us that he chopped her into pieces and disposed of her parts in nearby areas in the jungle area of Chhatarpur Enclave. He has been arrested and an investigation is going on,” added DCP Chouhan.

Aftab allegedly chopped her body into 35 pieces, bought a refrigerator and kept them in it. He later started disposing of the body pieces at different locations in and around Delhi during night hours for the next 18 days, said sources.

Sources further said, Aftab used to sleep every day in the same room where he had chopped the body after killing Shraddha. He used to see the face after keeping it in the fridge. Aftab had cleaned the fridge after disposing of the body parts.

Sources said Aftab had relations with many girls even before Shraddha. Before committing the crime, he also watched many crime movies and web series, including the American crime drama series Dexter.

Shraddha’s father told the police about his daughter’s relationship with Aftab and suspected his involvement in his daughter’s absence.

During the investigation, it was found that Aaftab and Shraddha had come to Delhi and started living in a rented apartment in the Chhatarpur Pahadi area. The police during the course of the investigation, traced Aftab and nabbed him. Aftab, during questioning, confessed to the crime and said that they fought often as Shraddha was pressurizing him for marriage.

“The accused has been arrested and a case under IPC sections 302 (murder) and 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of an offence committed) has been registered at Mehrauli police station,” officials said.

Police also recovered some bones from Aftab’s rented flat and officials said that the efforts to recover the remaining parts of the body were on.

PM Modi said “We have to look for a way to return of the ceasefire in Ukraine”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday reiterated India’s long-standing position in favour of dialogue and diplomacy in Ukraine and said “‘We have to find a way to return to the path of the ceasefire” in Kyiv.

While addressing the G20 working session on Food and Energy Security, PM Modi said, “I have repeatedly said that we have to find a way to return to the path of ceasefire and diplomacy in Ukraine

PM Modi, who arrived in Bali on Monday, said, “Over the past century, the Second World War wreaked havoc in the world. After that, the leaders of that time made a serious effort to take the path of peace. Now it’s our turn. The onus of creating a new world order for the post-Covid period lies on our shoulders. The need of the hour is to show concrete and collective resolve to ensure peace, harmony and security in the world.”

Referring to India as the “holy land of Buddha and Gandhi” PM Modi said that he is confident that the next year when G20 meets they will all agree to convey a strong message of peace to the world. PM Modi started his speech by congratulating Indonesia for giving effective leadership to the G-20 in a challenging global environment. He further said that Climate change, the Covid pandemic, the developments in Ukraine, and the global problems associated with it have created havoc in the world. “Global supply chains are in ruins.

There is a crisis of essentials and essential goods all over the world. The challenge for the poor citizens of every country is more severe. Everyday life was already a struggle for them. They do not have the financial capacity to deal with the double whammy. Due to the double whammy, they lack the financial capacity to handle it. We should also not hesitate to acknowledge that multilateral institutions such as the UN have been unsuccessful on these issues. And we have all failed to make suitable reforms to them. Therefore, today the world has greater expectations from the G-20, and the relevance of our group has become more significant,” PM Modi added.

Talking about the problems during the pandemic situation, PM said that India had ensured the food security of its 1.3 billion citizens.

At the same time, food grains were also supplied to many countries in need. The current shortage of fertilizers in terms of food security is also a huge crisis. He further said that the fertilizer shortage “is tomorrow’s food crisis,” and the world will not have a solution. PM Modi said that all the G20 countries have to build mutual agreement to maintain the supply chain of both manure and food grains stable and assured. “In India, for sustainable food security, we are promoting natural farming and re-popularising nutritious and traditional foodgrains like millets. Millets can also solve global malnutrition and hunger. We all must celebrate the International Year of Millets with great enthusiasm next year,” he added.

Calling India’s energy security “important” for global growth, PM Modi said that it is the world’s fastest-growing economy. He further stated that one should not promote the restrictions on the supply of energy and stability in the energy market should be ensured. “India is committed to clean energy and environment. By 2030, half of our electricity will be generated from renewable sources. Time-bound and affordable finance and sustainable supply of technology to developing countries is essential for inclusive energy transition,” PM said.

After cracking a horrific Shraddha Walkar murder case in the national capital, the Delhi Police is deciding its further course of action which include scanning accused Aftab’s social media accounts and reaching out to his friends who had met him before his relationship with the victim girl, according to the sources. The Delhi Police sources said that they are trying to get in touch with his other friends.

“The police are trying to get in touch with other friends. Aftab’s social media account is being scanned. His past relationships are to be analyzed. Four of his friends who met him before he had a relationship with Shraddha will be contacted,” the police sources told Agencies.

Aftab, her live-in partner and a resident of Mumbai, was caught by Delhi Police on Saturday, on the basis of the deceased’s father’s complaint. Meanwhile, friends of Shraddha Walkar, the girl from Maharashtra who was allegedly killed by her live-in partner in Delhi, have narrated their side of the story, painting a picture of Shraddha as they knew her.

Shraddha’s friends who were from Maharashtra’s Palghar said that initially, the couple lived happily, but things deteriorated between them and she wanted to break the relationship.

Speaking to Agencies on Monday, Rajat Shukla, her friend, said, “Today suddenly the news flashed on the mobile of her murder. I was shaken to the core of my soul that my friend has been murdered. She had told us in 2019 that she was in a relationship since 2018. They lived together. Initially, they lived happily, but then Sharddha started saying that Aftab beats her. She wanted to leave him but couldn’t do so.” Rajat said that it had become “very difficult” for her to come out of that relationship, adding that “her life had become like hell”. “While shifting to Delhi, the decision was taken with their mutual consent that they would do a job there. After shifting to Delhi, our contact with her nearly broke,” he added.

Laxman Nadir, another friend of Shraddha from Palghar, detailed the circumstances under which they approached the police. “She had contacted me two months ago. She did not reply to any of my texts since August. her phone was switched off. That is when it became a point of concern to me that I should start reaching out to the people. When I got no update, I finally told her brother that I had spoken to her for the last time in July. So it’s better if we reach out to the police and seek their help,” he said.

He said that the couple used to have a lot of fights, due to which they were once ready to approach the police, however, respecting Shraddha’s sentiments, they decided against it. “They used to have a lot of fights. There was a fight to such an extent that she texted me on WhatsApp and asked me to take her somewhere that night. She said that if she lived with Aftab that night, he would kill her. We, friends, had taken her out of her house that night and also had warned Aftab that we would approach the police. But respecting Shraddha’s sentiments we said that we would not approach the police because she told us not to do so,” he said.

Delhi police solved the six-month-old murder case and arrested a man for allegedly killing his 28-year-old live-in partner, chopping her body into 35 pieces and disposing of them at different places in and around the national capital.

The accused identified as Aftab Amin Poonawalla (28), a resident of Mumbai, was caught on Saturday on the basis of the deceased’s father’s complaint and has been sent to police remand for five days, the police said on Monday.

The two got together via a dating app in Mumbai. They were in a live-in relationship for three years and had shifted to Delhi. Soon after the two shifted to Delhi, Shraddha started pressurizing the man to marry her,” Additional DCP-I South Delhi Ankit Chauhan told Agencies. He has been arrested and investigation is going on,” added Chouhan.

The accused allegedly chopped her body into 35 pieces, bought a refrigerator and kept them in it.

He later started disposing of the body pieces at different locations in and around Delhi during night hours for the next 18 days, said sources. In November, the victim’s father Vikash Madan Walker, a resident of Palghar (Maharashtra), approached Mumbai police and lodged a missing person’s complaint.

During the initial investigation, the victim’s last location was found in Delhi, and on the basis of this, the case was transferred to Delhi police.

The victim’s father told the police about his daughter’s relationship with Aftab and suspected his involvement in his daughter’s absence. During the investigation, it was found that Aftab and Shraddha had come to Delhi and started living in a rented apartment in Chhatterpur Pahadi area. The police during the course of the investigation, traced Aftab and nabbed him.

The accused, during questioning, confessed to the crime and said that they fought often as Shraddha was pressurizing him for marriage. “The accused has been arrested and a case under IPC sections 302 (murder) and 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of an offence committed) has been registered at Mehrauli police station,” officials said.

Police also recovered some bones recovered from the accused’s rented flat and officials said that the efforts to recover the remaining parts of the body were on.

Elgar Parishad Case: Activist Gautam Navlakha is yet to be under house arrest 4 days after SC order

Jailed human rights activist Gautam Navlakha, who was last week allowed to be placed under house arrest for a month by the Supreme Court owing to his medical condition, is yet to walk out of Navi Mumbai’s Taloja prison, where he is lodged in connection with the Elgar Parishad-Maoist links case, as formalities for his release are still under process.

The 70-year-old activist, who claims to suffer from multiple ailments, is in custody since April 2020 in the 2017-18 case.

On November 10, the Supreme Court allowed Navlakha to be put under house arrest for a month with certain conditions and had said its order should be implemented within 48 hours.

However, till Monday evening he was still in prison as formalities for his release could not be completed. According to his lawyer, formalities for Navlakha’s release from jail were initiated on Monday before a special NIA (National Investigation Agency) court in Mumbai that is hearing the case against him.

Once released from prison, Navlakha will be staying at Belapur in Navi Mumbai under surveillance.

The septuagenarian shall not be allowed to leave Mumbai, as per the SC order.

DCW asks police to submit report by Nov 18 His lawyer on Monday apprised special NIA Judge Rajesh Katariya, presiding over the case, of the Supreme Court order on house arrest and initiated the process for filing surety as per the condition set by the apex court to complete his release formalities.

The SC had imposed a slew of conditions by which Navlakha would have to stay in Mumbai, deposit Rs 2.4 lakh as expenses for security, CCTV cameras would have to be installed outside the rooms and at entry and exit points of the house where he will be staying.

Navlakha will not be allowed to leave the house except for walks in the company of police personnel, but permitted to meet his lawyers as per Jail Manual rules and inform cops in case of a medical emergency, the apex court said last week.

It also said the activist will not be allowed to use a computer or the internet during the period of his house arrest.

He will, however, be permitted to use a mobile phone without the internet provided by police personnel on duty once a day for ten minutes in their presence.

Access to television and newspapers will be allowed, but these cannot be interest-based, the SC maintained in its order.

It also allowed the Maharashtra police to search and inspect the residence and said the accommodation would be under surveillance.

The Supreme Court has listed the matter for hearing in the second week of December by when the prosecuting agency NIA has been asked to obtain a fresh medical report on the accused.

Navlakha had sought to be shifted from the Taloja prison and placed under house arrest owing to ill health. The activist moved the SC against the April 26 order of the Bombay High Court dismissing his plea for house arrest over apprehensions of lack of adequate medical and other basic facilities in the Taloja jail.

The case relates to alleged inflammatory speeches made at the ‘Elgar Parishad’ conclave held in Pune on December 31, 2017, which the police claimed triggered violence the next day near the Koregaon -Bhima war memorial on the outskirts of the western Maharashtra city.

According to the Pune police, people linked to banned Naxalite groups had organized the program.

The case, in which over a dozen activists and academicians have been named as accused, was later handed over to the NIA.

Ukrainian Prez Zelenskyy visits newly-retaken Kherson city

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Monday visited the newly-retaken Kherson city after the Russian retreat.

In a video circulating on Telegram, Zelensky told a group of reporters that he thought it was necessary to visit the city.

“The military takes risks every day, journalists take risks,” he said.

“I think it is necessary to be here and talk about Kherson residents to support people. To make them feel that we are not only talking about it, but we are really returning, really raising our flag.”

“I would also like, in a human way, to get the emotion, the energy from people. It is motivating,” added Zelenskyy.

“We are moving forward,” the Ukrainian president told troops in the regional capital.

“We are ready for peace, peace for all our country.” Zelenskyy also thanked Kyiv’s Western allies for their support in the war against Russia.

On Saturday, crowds celebrated the liberation of Kherson city after Ukrainian forces swept into the regional capital and Russian troops retreated to the east.

But life remains far from normal, with authorities warning residents to be wary of explosives littering the city, and Russian forces still nearby just across the strategically important Dnipro River.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces have recaptured 12 settlements in Luhansk since initiating a counteroffensive in September, the top Ukrainian official for the eastern region said Monday, reported media.

“The advance is not easy,” said Serhiy Hayday, head of the Luhansk regional military administration, on national television.

“Every meter passed in the Luhansk region is a continuous struggle for the AFU (Armed Forces of Ukraine).”

The Ukrainian military began a slow probe into the Luhansk region in September, after a rapid advance in the neighbouring Kharkiv region, reported media.

The village of Makiivka was liberated Sunday, according to the military administration, and Ukrainian forces have in recent weeks been pushing towards the road connecting Svatove and Kreminna.

For several weeks, they have said that the road is under their “fire control,” meaning that the Russian military can only use it with a high risk of coming under fire.

“There is heavy fighting in the Luhansk region every day,” Hayday said.

“The recently de-occupied settlements are being heavily shelled.”

“The occupiers know exactly where they are firing, as they were knocked out of these settlements a few days ago and they know how many civilians are there and where they are. That is why we are trying to establish evacuation.”
