The Beed district court on Friday sentenced Dr. Sudam Munde along with wife Dr. Sarasvati Munde, and third accused Mahadev Patekar to 10 years imprisonment in connection with an illegal abortion case during which the women was died in Beed.
In May 2012, Vijaymala Patekar was died during the abortion in the hospital of Dr. Munde. 17 persons have been arrested in this case out of which four of them have died.
Munde, along with other accused will have to face the punishment for another three and a half years as they already spent last six and a half years in jail.
