Parliament proceedings washout is a national shame!

Washout in Parliament proceedings without the House being allowed to function is a national shame and a stigma on our democracy. Crores of rupees of honest tax payers money has gone down the drain as it costs a bomb to run the House and few thousand crore more which are paid as salaries and compensations to MP’s. Demonetization debate to understand the higher currency ban and GST bill to be introduced were very important agenda for the nation but it seems no politician is really interested in these landmark reforms and the House was reduced to a fish market and the foul smell of which has been left for citizens now to breathe.

Debates are very important in a democracy to form a consensus in taking decisions in the interest of the nation but corrupt politicians have agenda that are anti-national which is the reason for House disruption. It’s time for the Supreme Court to intervene so that a Special Session can be called and all MP’s with an diktat from the Highest court asked to attend session and pass important bills that are in the nation’s interest. Erring leaders and MP’s should be reprimanded by the Court and their membership suspended if they fail to behave or do not allow the Parliament to function.
