Kate Winslet has confessed that she feels that people are nice to her now, as the media hype about her relationship with co-star Leonardo DiCaprio has lessened.
The ` Titanic` star, who had a hard time coming to terms with the rumours, said that in her opinion the tabloids were harsher before, Universal Pictures India reported.
The 38-year-old actress said that the tabloids treat stars with more respect when they get old, but the young stars are treated like “loose bait”.
Winslet added that the paparazzi know they can get in there somehow, but when one is older, they know that they can`t do quite as much damage.
