President Pranab Mukherjee delivered an outstanding speech by expressing his anguish on lynching incidents happening across the country. He urged journalists to follow truth and do objective reporting with social concern. Government should provide some grant and advertisements to smaller newspapers. You don’t have to be too much biased or a propagandist. You make a habit of reading English newspapers and one fine day, you will suddenly realise that your vocabulary has improved. Former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru was a prolific writer and we must emulate him.
