The international diva Priyanka Chopra has made it to the Forbes list of the 100 most powerful women. Priyanka has grabbed the 15th rank in the list of Most Powerful Women in Entertainment and Media.
American singer Taylor Swift was placed at 12th spot while author JK Rowling at 13th. Beyonce Knowles lied at 4th spot in the list which was led by artistic director Anna Wintour. Priyanka Chopra’s entry in such lists that consists some of the biggest names in the world speaks volume of her surging popularity and growing influence in the media industry.
Earlier in 2017, Forbes placed Priyanka Chopra at the 7th spot in the list of Bollywood’s Top 10 Highest Paid Stars. Interestingly, the list included the names both male and female actors of the Hindi film industry. She reportedly earned a whopping $10 million, equivalent to Rs 64 crore, from movies, endorsements and other ventures last year alone.
Priyanka Chopra shot to fame when she won the Miss World pageant in 2000. She made her Bollywood debut in 2003 with Sunny Deol-starrer The Hero: Love Story of a Spy and never looked back. She has proved her on-screen mettle with critically acclaimed films like Aitraaz, 7 Khoon Maaf, Mary Kom, Bajirao Mastani and has garnered a host of accolades throughout her glittering career. Currently, she is doing ABC’s thriller TV series Quantico.
