After three and a half years of BJP rule, Col Purohit gets the much needed relief as SC granted him bail in the Malegaon case and he is a free bird for the time being. The charges levelled against him could not be proved and hence keeping him for more than 9 years appears a vindictive politics. The political reactions to the development were mixed. Despite his release Col Purhoit will have to wait to don military uniform. Purohit as a hero fought against terrorists in Jammu Kashmir without bothering about his life. Since Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur the co-accused is also released on bail, Purohit also deserves one. He needs support to prove his innocence and BJP government has given him a chance now. There is no need of showing any partiality and the law will take its own course.
