Mumbai gets flooded as rain water has no place and the train traffic gets disrupted during the course of heavy rains. For office goers and for school and college going people it is a horrible experience. This time around, the Cental Railway assured fewer disruptions due to flooding of the tracks in this section. Railways get ready in a time bound programme and it is a good news for the commuters of the Central Railways. Plethora of problems continues to haunt train users during peak monsoon season. Trains were brought to halt owing to flooding on railway tracks at many strategic points. Several trains were cancelled in the aftermath of heavy rains. In all it was a total chaos, confusion and cancellation of trains — all these give nightmarish experience and people face tight situations during this time of the year. Smooth commute is expected with various measures undertaken by the railways.
