Rapper Ray J has reportedly been charged with numerous offences following his arrest at a hotel here. Ray J, whose real name is William Ray Norwood Jr, was apprehended by law enforcement officers after the LAPD received a call from someone inside the Beverly Wilshire Hotel claiming the singer was causing a commotion within the hotel`s bar, reportedly.
The staff at the hotel allegedly told Ray J to leave the bar but he refused and law enforcement were called soon after.
After officers were called to the scene, Ray J reportedly refused leave quietly and was restrained with handcuffs.
Unfortunately, this did little to improve Ray J`s mood as he proceeded to kick the window out of a law enforcement vehicle.
Ray J, who has previously dated Kim Kardashian, also reported spit on an officer during his arrest. The statement, issued by the LAPD, claimed “After the uniform police officers took Mr Norwood into custody and placed him in the rear of a police vehicle, he became belligerent and used his feet to shatter the side window of the police vehicle.”
Ray J is currently in custody and is being charged with trespassing, vandalism, resisting arrest, and battery.
