Time is changing and accordingly the time tested methods of teaching and imparting education ought to have been changed a long back. But our kids are undergoing an outdated academic system and we are lagging behind 20 years back in our educational system. Having an old school of thought even parents, guardians and care takers are not able to function as a guiding force and thereby balancing act could not be contemplated in a planned way and the youngsters are put on pressure cooker situation throughout their school days. The new tools to assess students is a right step in the right direction as the schools coming under the State Government should see that changes takes in an effective way. A modern method of educational system with a lively mix of events, contests and articles relevant to students can make a vast difference in our country. To add to that sports and cultural activities should get the pride of place in making things move in a methodical way of mixing extracurricular activities and education in a big way.
