Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya and ‘Bigg Boss 7’ fame Ejaz Khan have drawn the ire of people for their controversial tweets in support of Salman Khan after pronouncement of verdict on Wednesday against the superstar in the 2002 hit-and-run case.
Bollywood veteran Rishi Kapoor has slammed Abhijeet and Ejaz for giving illogical explanations while supporting Salman.
“Ashamed of Abhijit the singer and some Ejaz Khan. Bunch of idiots and non starters,” he posted on Twitter.
Ajaz had posted on Facebook : “To hell with INDIAN law our Government is responsible for this. Garibo ko ghar do they sleep so close to the road U do little mistake and this hap mere dost se bina piye Yeh huwaa hai in Gujraat pray for Bhai”'(sic.)
Rishi who has acted with Salman is also infuriated with the duo for having questioned the country’s law.

The singer used street dogs as an allegory to hold people who sleep on roads accountable for such accidents.
