Samajwadi Party suspends four party MLAs for ‘anti-party’ activities

Four Samajwadi Party MLAs were suspended on Monday for “anti-party” activities.

SP spokesman Rajendra Chowdhury said UP party president Akhilesh Yadav has suspended Nawazish Alam(Budhana-Muzaffarnagar),Bhagwan Sharma alias Guddu Pandit (Dibai), Mukesh Sharma(Shikarpur-Bulandshahr) andShyam Prakash (Gopamau in Hardoi) for defying party orders and acting against it.

The party had earlier suspended and later expelled party MLA Rampal Yadav (Biswan-Sitpur).

These party MLAs, according to sources, defied party whip and voted against its candidates in MLC and Rajya Sabha polls.
