Shahid Kapoor’s loverboy image extends beyond the silversreen. The ‘Haider’ boy, who has been riding high on the success of his latest, is showering his ladylove – Mira Rajput – with gifts ahead of their private wedding ceremony, supposedly on June 10, 2015.
A source to the couple has said that Shahid has apparently spent a whopping Rs 23 lakh on a solitaire for Mira.
The chocolate boy of Bollywood apparently kept Mira’s taste in mind while selecting the best ring for her at their roka ceremony, which is a traditional Punjabi practice where the announcement of a wedding is officialised.
Shahid, who was previously in a relationship with Kareena Kapoor (now Mrs Saif Ali Khan) and Priyanka Chopra, had vowed not to get married to an actress, after failed relationships.
And hence his marriage to Mira doesn’t come as a surprise. However, it certainly is a shock to many of his female fans, who will now have to deal with their broken hearts!
