Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone have never been best of friends. However, the two really got along like a house on fire when they came together on Karan Johar’s popular chit chat show Koffee with Karan.
Post their stint on Koffee with Karan, reports about them being BFFs started doing the rounds. But it wasn’t too long before their equation changed once again.
If the latest buzz is to be believed then, Deepika Padukone was sitting on the chair next to Sonam at a recent award function, but Sonam Kapoor requested the organizers to change the seat.
Entertaining her request, the organisers availed a seat to her in another area. However, the ‘Khoobsurat’ beauty left the award function immediately after taking her award.
However, Sonam’s spokesperson denies the buzz and says, “Sonam left long before Deepika even came in that was an hour before her award was announced. Moreover, she had to rush for a family dinner. Sonam was backstage and on her way out when Deepika walked in. They are absolutely cordial.”
Sonam responds to the buzz by saying, “That is really funny.”
