As father of Srinivas Kuchibhotla performed his son’s last rites in Hyderabad slogans were shouted against Trump after a gruesome attack on the techie killed after a gun attack and the created a fear in the minds of Indians living in US. Foreign Secretary met U.S. National Security Advisor and discussed ways and means to counter-terrorism and bilateral relations between the two countries. He also had talks with House of Representatives and discussed various issues, including ways to enhance economic and defence cooperation between the two countries. The relationship between the U.S. and India is rooted in shared values of democracy and freedom. We had a great opportunity today to build on this critical partnership by discussing ways to enhance our economic and defence cooperation. Both the leaders expressed condolences of the U.S. House of Representatives over the death of Srinivas Kuchibhotla in a shooting in Kansas. Our people must continue to stand together and we look forward for cordial relations in the days to come.
